Abstract Objective: to investigate the prognosis of acupuncture on bell's palsy and choose the best time for treatment Methods: 100 cases of bell's Palsy patients were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group, 50 cases in each group. The patients in treatment group receive penetration needling technique plus kinesitherapy, the control group receive the regular acupuncture plus acupoint local injection therapy. Results: the treatment group has greater effective rate and cured effect than the control group. (P<0.05) Conclusion: Penetrating Needling Technique is superior then traditional acupuncture in treatment of Bell's Palsy, the prognosis is depends on degree of nervous degeneration and duration of disease |
